Holiday time is gala time, and local volunteers and supporters of The Wellness Community-Massachusetts South Shore (http://www.thewellnesscommunitymass.org), provider of emotional support programs free of charge to people affected by cancer, are holding the organization’s second annual Festival of Wreaths fundraiser December 3 at Pembroke Country Club, 94 West Elm Street in Pembroke.
The Festival of Wreaths will be an evening of dinner, dancing and live and silent auctions revolving around a festive holiday wreath theme. Joyce Kulhawik, longtime WBZ-TV entertainment reporter and cancer cause supporter, is the event’s honorary chair. Parking is free.
