Thursday, August 26, 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm – Seasons in a Jar: Pickling & Preserving

With so much fresh local produce readily available in Massachusetts, capture the tastes of the season as Roberta Tarsia, Farmstand & Bakery Manager of Smolak Farms in North Andover, Massachusetts leads you through the necessary steps in the pickling and preserving process. All students will be provided with necessary produce from Smolak Farms as well as jars and all materials, and will leave with their creations! The class, sponsored by the Boston Center for Adult Education, will take place at 122 Arlington Street in Boston on Thursday, August 26, from 6 – 9, and the fee is $45 plus an additional materials cost of $20.  The tuition is $38 if you are a member of the BCAE.  To register, log on to www.bcae.org.
