See student artwork with floral interpretations in two venues in Needham. On Friday, March 2, from 2 – 4 pm, exhibits will be on display at Needham High School, in the Lobby of the Senior Center, and at Town Hall. Saturday, from 9 – 5, go to the Needham Public Library, where forty arrangements will be shown. Sunday, the hours at the Needham Public Library will be from 1 – 4. Needham’s Art in Bloom was modeled after the annual springtime exhibit Art in Bloom presented by the Museum of Fine Arts, in Boston. Beth Shalom Garden Club’s goal was to organize a community event that would engage people of all ages, interests, and life experiences. Each piece of mixed media artwork created by talented Needham High School students will have an accompanying floral interpretation produced by members of the award winning Beth Shalom Garden Club. For more information, visit www.needhamartinbloom.com. The event is co-sponsored by Beth Shalom Garden Club and the Needham High School Fine Arts Department.
