Project Native is once again teaming up with their friends at CHP to offer a FREE Family Fun Day at Project Native, 342 N. Plain Road, Housatonic, Massachusetts. Registration requested but not required at familynetwork@chpberkshires.org or call 413-644-0104. Admission and events are FREE!

Activities include:
Making Seed Balls: Get your hands dirty learning to make native seed balls using clay, compost, and native perennial seeds.
Butterfly and Bug Safari: Join us on an adventure from 10:30am-12pm through the farm. Study the butterflies we collect and release them into the Butterfly House!
Buggy Crafts: Make butterfly mobiles/dragonfly creations!
Nature Up Close!: Things look ultra cool when magnified. Check out this science station and see the details missed with the naked eye.
Face Painting: Get your hand, arm, or face painted by the talented Bria Arponti from 10:15-11:15am.
Self-Guided Story Walk: Walk the beautiful trails while reading the oversized pages of The Tiny Seed by Eric Carle.

Dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable shoes. Remember sunscreen and water. Please refrain from using bug repellant with DEET on the property. This event is generously funded by the Sandisfield Cultural Council.
