This Tower Hill Botanic Garden workshop with Anastasia Papanikolaou on Saturday, January 28 from 1 – 3 will answer your questions about what Fire Cider is, its many health benefits, how to make it and how it can be enjoyed in your everyday life. It is a warming and energizing apple cider infusion made with common kitchen ingredients some of which include garlic, onions, ginger, honey and various herbs. Some if its benefits include helping to prevent cold and flu symptoms and/or shorten their duration. Fire Cider helps to boost the immune system, stimulates digestion, warms you up during a cold winter day, is anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-viral, a decongestant and a spicy circulatory mover.
