Sunday, November 19, 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm – Thanksgiving Centerpiece

On Sunday, November 19, 1:30-3pm at Tower Hill Botanic Garden, 11 French Drive in Boylston, join instructor Laura Jean Pecci, LJ Floral & Event Design (Cambridge) for a workshop on Thanksgiving centerpieces. Create a lush, loose, natural autumn arrangement- perfect for the Thanksgiving holiday table. Focal flowers will be accented with unique textures, and seasonal elements of interest. All Materials included in fee ($90 for Tower Hill members, $100 for nonmembers).

For the past decade, Laura Jean Pecci has been a creative force in floral design in Boston and beyond. As head designer at the most esteemed shops in the city, Laura Jean was responsible for creating and filling orders for their most prestigious clients. Three years ago, Pecci headed out on her own and founded LJ Floral and Design. Quickly growing out of her studio space, her business blossomed and she moved to a storefront location in Cambridge complete with boutique and in-house design studio, and a rock star design crew, made up of floral enthusiasts, avid gardeners, and artists. Wednesday, November 29 – Friday, December 1, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm – New England Grows 2017

New England Grows is renowned for its world-class education offerings and innovative trend spotting. Founded in 1993 by green industry professionals for green industry professionals, the educational conference and exposition gives participants unique access to targeted, industry-specific products, information, education and connections. The New England Nursery Association, Massachusetts Arborists Association, Massachusetts Association of Landscape Professionals and Massachusetts Nursery & Landscape Association are the organization’s founding partners.

Proceeds from New England Grows go directly back to the industry to support the work of these and other green industry organizations, including yearly research grants to the region’s Cooperative Extension programs. Funds from the show also support related community-based programs, such as the Boston Schoolyard Initiative. The show’s format and educational content is continually updated to meet current industry needs and bring inspirational thinking to participants. Since its start, New England Grows has tripled in size and earned a Tradeshow Week 200 and two Fastest 50 rankings. The show moved to the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center in 2005.
