Wednesday, January 10 – Friday, January 12, 9:30 am – 3:30 pm – Exploring Collections in Sepia

This three day Wellesley College Botanic Gardens class on January 10 – 12 from 9:30 – 3:30 with Lara Call Gastinger will examine the process of composing collected subject matter and using sepia paint to document them in a painting that can tell a rich story. We will explore how mindful collection and assembly can change the way we look at objects. We will be using seed pods and dried winter specimens as our inspiration. Snow day Saturday, January 13 if needed. Friends of Wellesley Botanic Gardens $340, nonmembers $415. To register call 781-283-3094 or email wcbgfriends@wellesley.edu.
