Thursday, February 25 – Sunday, February 28 – Flora In Winter, Live and Online

Enjoy the beauty of fresh flower arrangements, inspired by works of art and created by the area’s leading floral designers, during Worcester Art Museum’s annual Flora in Winter, running from February 25 – 28. The muse for this year’s Flora programming is the Worcester Wedding Kimono, specially commissioned from Chiso, the revered 465-year-old Kyoto-based kimono house, and on view in the exhibition The Kimono in Print: 300 years of Japanese Design from February 6 – May 2, 2021.

With capacity restrictions due to COVID, we are able to accommodate only a limited number of people for Flora in Winter this year. Therefore, onsite Flora 2021 will be for WAM Members only, as a very special benefit. A limited number of tickets will be available to Members on a first-come, first-served basis—click here for details. In addition, a virtual Flora in Winter, called “Passport to Virtual Flora,” will include all related online programming and will be available free for Members; $40 for nonmembersview full details. “Passport to Virtual Flora” brings the beauty and excitement of Flora in Winter to you in the comfort of your own home! This virtual programming package can be enjoyed at any time and for unlimited times during the four days of Flora in Winter—and beyond. “Passport to Virtual Flora” will include pre-recorded programs including a virtual tour of all 24 floral arrangements and Japanese table display in McDonough Court, narrated by the fabulous Flora co-chairs, plus a bonus video tour of the professional floral arrangements in the Museum’s public spaces.

(Members: Please use the Salisbury Street and Tuckerman Street entrances. Parking is available in the Salisbury Street, Lancaster Street, and Tuckerman Street lots.)
