The Mary Natale Citizenship Award was presented to Susan Ashbrook at the NABB Annual Meeting on September 22nd. The Mary Natale Citizenship award is given based upon significant and sustained dedication and service to the residential interests of the Back Bay and, in particular, unselfish and unheralded commitment to the community. NABB has always counted on Susan to help our organization on many committees and leadership positions. Susan, of course, continues to be an active member of The Garden Club of the Back Bay, in addition to her significant involvement in The Gibson House Museum . Susan also recently received a Distinguished Achievement Award from Lesley University. She joined Lesley in 2005 and has been a valued colleague for over 15 years at the Art Institute of Boston and Lesley’s College of Art and Design. She established the Art History major and served as chair of the Art History department.
