Friday, December 10, 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm – Houseplant Holiday

What’s the Holiday gift that keeps on giving? Plants! Whether you received one yourself or want to know what to get the person that has everything, a holiday-themed plant can’t go wrong. Join Tower Hill Botanic Garden’s December 10 workshop with Robin Selwitz as we learn about houseplant care and some tips and tricks for what kind make good gifts, how to care for them, and how to make them have a fun festive twist. We will be potting up and decorating a festive plant to take home with seasonal pot, décor, and spirit!

Robin is an experienced, very enthusiastic gardener with over 100 plants and years of botanical experience. Her specialty is caring for houseplants, and she is a Certified Master Urban Gardener who loves to empower people to have beautiful greenery in any space they have. She truly believes that everyone can have a green thumb with the right tools and knowledge in their arsenal, and enjoys teaching others how to help their plants not just survive, but thrive. When she is not teaching about plants, she works as a Technical Trainer for a telemedicine company in Boston, and loves hiking all throughout New England and spending time with her cat, Cheddar.
