Learn the basics of the sugaring process, from identifying suitable trees to tap, tapping, and collecting/storage techniques, as well as tips on boiling down dilute sap into sweet syrup and other sugar products. The class will be held Sunday, February 4 from 1 – 3 at the Edgewater Food Forest, 640 River Street in Mattapan (rain date February 24).
