Thursday, September 5, 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm – New England Botanic Garden LGBTQ+ Pride Celebration

Join the New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill on September 5 as it celebrates the LGBTQ+ community and the two weeks of Pride Worcester with an evening of lively entertainment and fun festivities. Enjoy gardens of beautiful blooms and a Beer Garden serving craft drinks and light bites, with featured food and drink specials from Femme Bar! Show your support by shopping local from talented LGBTQ+ artisan vendors and connect with community organizations providing valuable resources. The celebration continues with dancing and a spectacular Drag Show featuring music by DJ Dayglow and several fabulous drag performers. Enjoy a variety of craft beers, wines, cocktails, mocktails, and snacks from our Beer Garden and regular menu selections from Farmer and the Fork Café, plus featured specialty cocktails and food specials from FemmeMenu coming soon. Outside alcohol is not permitted at the Garden.

Saturday & Sunday, August 31 – September 1, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm – Berkshire Woodworkers Guild Fine Wood Show

Each summer, the Berkshire Botanical Garden hosts the Berkshire Woodworkers Guild Fine Wood Show and Silent Auction, when Guild members exhibit and sell unique, hand-made products ranging from furniture to musical instruments. Guild members also provide ongoing demonstrations. The Garden is located at 5 West Stockbridge Road in Stockbridge, and the dates this year are August 31 – September 1 from 9 – 5. $5 admission for the general public and $3 for BBG members. Sean Stanton from North Plain Farm, Great Barrington, Mass., will be onsite Saturday and Sunday offering farm-raised pork sausages and beef hotdogs. Pleasant & Main in Housatonic, Mass., will be onsite both days as well with their signature coffee drinks, baked treats and savory breakfast crepes.For more information visit www.berkshirebotanical.org.
