The Melrose Urban Garden Tour takes place on Saturday, June 20, from 10 – 1, but a pre-tour gathering will be held at Bowden Park from 8:30 – 11. There will be a plant sale, baked goods, live music, raffles, kids’ activities, tour maps, tickets to the tour, and more. The Melrose Urban Garden Tour showcases unique local gardens while supporting the Melrose Farmers’ Market and its SNAP Match Program. This self-guided tour highlights creative urban green spaces, from backyard retreats to container gardens. Proceeds benefit the SNAP Match program, doubling SNAP benefits at the market to provide fresh, local produce for families in need.
