The Massachusetts Horticultural Society will sponsor a talk on the basics of beekeeping, the impact that honeybees have on our world, and the impact our world has on bees, in the Parkman Room of the Elm Bank Education Building, Washington Street, Wellesley, on Thursday, January 15 beginning at 7 pm.. Tony Lulek will cover everything from a general introduction of bees, the internal workings of the hive, bee biology, hive products, to the struggles of managing bees today caused by environmental factors.
Come learn about colony collapse disorder and how it affects us as individuals. Tony will talk in depth about the environment and the current state of agriculture, and how we can protect our pollinators. Discover the choices we can make to create a safer, cleaner environment for future generations.
