Come to the Eleanor Cabot Bradley Estate in Canton on Thursday, July 14 between 10 and noon to explore the ornamental characteristics of climbers like honeysuckle, wisteria, clematis, and other (unique!) lesser-known species. In the indoor hour long talk, you will learn how vines climb, the support structures needed for each type of vine, best planting practices and maintenance. Jen Kettel, horticulturist, arborist and teacher, formerly the Arnold Arboretum’s Horticulturist, will be our instructor for this exciting new program. We will take to the paths along the formal and kitchen gardens and find examples of what you might like to do at home.
