This New England Wild Flower Society class for the beginning mushroom enthusiast will head right into the field to look for fungi. You will learn to identify mushrooms by finding their habitats. If you can find mushroom substrates, you can find mushrooms! Many of the species we’ll see will be very small—hidden under logs, in leaf litter, or in cracks in tree bark. Bring a hand lens and please note: this course is not focused on edibles.
