    The Nauset Garden Club presents Art in Bloom: A Celebration of Art and Floral Design on June 8 and 9, from 10 – 4 at the Crosby Mansion (pictured below), 163 Crosby Lane in Brewster. The event also includes a plant sale and designed container sale, floral design demonstrations, and a garden tea. Advance tickets are available at Snows in Orleans, Agway, The Farm, The Brewster Country Store, Crocker Nursery, New England Gardens in Harwich, Hyannis Country Gardens, and online at http://nausetgardenclub.org. $20 advance sale, $25 at the door.

  • Sunday, July 15, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm – North Quabbin Garden Club 13th Annual Garden Tour

    Come visit the gardens of Athol on Sunday, July 15, from 10 – 3.  Advance maps ($5/person or $15/carload) are available at Bruce’s Browser and Agway in Athol, and Noel’s Nursery, North Quabbin Woods and Educare in Orange. Day-of maps will be sold at the Allen E. Rich Environmental Park near 50 Main St., Athol, and garden plants will be available for purchase at one of the gardens. The event benefits the Millers River Environmental Center. Presented with help from the North Quabbin Garden Club. Part of Athol Bird & Nature Club’s celebration of Athol 2012.

  • Saturday, June 26, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm – Orleans Improvement Association Garden Tour

    Six exquisite gardens hidden in private areas of Orleans, are showcased on this self-drive tour taking place Saturday, June 26, from 10 – 4.  Several gardens have spectacular water features. Tickets ($15 in advance, $20 day of tour) are available at Snow’s Home and Garden, Agway of Orleans, Main St. Gourmet and Nory’s, all in Orleans. Bob Bergeron of Snow’s Home and Garden will be in Garden #3 to answer your gardening questions, and delicious light refreshments await you at Garden #5.  You may enter to win a Door Prize of a $100 gift certificate to Snow’s Home & Garden, or a plant from “The Farm”, and winners will be notified Sunday, June 27th.   • Friday, November 6 – Sunday, November 8, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm – Christmas at The Crosby Mansion

    Built in 1888, “Tawasentha” is located on Crosby Lane off Route 6A across from Nickerson State Park in Brewster.  On Friday, November 6 through Sunday, November 8, The Nauset Garden Club will Deck the Halls with Christmas at The Crosby Mansion.  Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door, and may be purchased at Hyannis Country Gardens, at Agway in Orleans, Chatham and Dennis, at Puritan in Hyannis or Chatham, at Nory’s in Orleans, and at the Brewster General Store.  To get to the Mansion, take Route 6 South to Exit 11, follow Route 137 to Brewster.  Take right turn on Millstone Road and follow to Route 6A.  Take a right onto 6A and follow for 1/2 miles.  Crosby Lane will be on your left.
