  • Sunday, May 19, 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm – Magical Fairy Garden Workshop for Adults

    What kind of garden will your fairies live in? In this all-time favorite workshop for grown-up kids on May 19, start with your imagination and build an enchanting fairy world from there! Immerse yourself in decorative details as you embellish your magical fairy house, pond, sitting bench, and walkway using a mix of small live plants and other accents to create your unique fairy garden that can be displayed inside or out. The program takes place at Highfield Hall and Gardens, 56 Highfield Drive in Falmouth. $55 for Highfield Hall members, $65 for nonmembers. Register online or call 508-495-1878, Extension 2.

    Anna Holmes will provide guidance, a creative nudge, and all needed supplies. Bring your favorite accents, an apron or old shirt to wear, and a friend or two, and get lost in the creative process! While you are here, take time to wander the grounds and discover Highfield’s enchanting fairy houses on display during Summer 2024.  Please pre-register by May 11th.

  • Thursday, October 21, 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm – Fall Wreath Workshop

    Learn how to create your own fall wreath using a mix of dried hydrangea and seasonal flowers along with pods, berries, grasses and foliage for a luxurious looking design. The finished size of this wreath is approximately 20” wide. Anna Holmes will review where to source local materials, drying flowers for future wreaths/designs and keeping your wreath fresh looking. We encourage you to bring your favorite things to incorporate into your wreath for a combination of student’s own collection and materials provided by instructor.  

    Space is limited. Sign up by October 14th. The program will take place at Highfield Hall & Gardens in Falmouth.

  • Thursday, September 23, 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm – Autumn Collection Arrangement Workshop

    Don’t purchase a thing to create your own beautiful autumn arrangement. Join Anna Holmes at Highfield Hall in Falmouth on September 23 for this hands-on workshop and learn how to make a floral arrangement with found and collected materials. Collect what you need from your yard, your neighbor’s yard or on favorite walks you take along the beach or in the woods! Materials provided from the bounty of the season will be a mix of dried hydrangea, grasses, flower pods, garden flowers, fall leaves, local greenery, and vines. The actual plant selection is determined based on availability.

  • Sunday, July 10, 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm – Flower Arranging with Hydrangeas

    Join Anna Holmes at Highfield Hall & Gardens, 56 Highfield Drive in Falmouth on Sunday, July 10 at 1:30 pm in a flower arranging workshop. Create your own centerpiece arrangement using fresh hydrangeas and other seasonal flowers and greenery. All materials will be supplied for the class.
