    Camden Garden Club is delighted to announce their inaugural Garden Expo, Edible Gardens & Bountiful Tables, will be held Thursday, July 17, 2025. The day-long event will feature speakers Barbara Damrosch and Nancy Harmon Jenkins, as well as a PechaKucha-style presentation, horticultural demonstrations, tablescape displays, and a micro-farm tour. Most activities will take place at the Camden-Rockport Middle School at 34 Knowlton Street in Camden.     Tuesday, July 16 – Thursday, July 18 – Nantucket Garden Festival: A Celebration of Island Gardening

    The 11th Annual Nantucket Garden Festival highlights the unique and beautiful garden ecosystems on Nantucket and focuses on the importance of sustainability, conservation and gardening ethics for the long-term health of the island. Scheduled for July 16th-18th, the festival celebrates gardening through creative workshops, exquisite garden tours, children’s workshops, family activities and an opening night party. Register at http://www.ackgardenfestival.org/

    Eliot Coleman and Barbara Damrosch will speak, and Ed Bowen and Taylor Johnston of Issima will give a talk on The Cutting Garden Reimagined.

    On Wednesday, July 17 from 6 – 9, the Garden Soiree ($175 before June 30, $225 thereafter) will be held at The Middle Brick, 95 Main Street, a benefit for the Nantucket Lighthouse School. The School is the venue for the three day Garden Marketplace. Five different garden tours are also planned. Buy your tickets now.

    The three-day Garden Fair at Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens June 18 – June 20  features an amazing array of merchandise by vendors from many areas of the U.S. Each day will bring new entertainment, tours, and talks – all free to those who attend. In addition, Barbara Damrosch and Eliot Coleman will present the keynote lecture Eating from the Garden Year-Round, Even in Maine from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Saturday, June 19. See a display of container gardens created by professionals and amateur gardeners, with some of the containers available for sale.
