LexFarm President Allison Guerette and Lexington Field and Garden Club member Carolyn Goldstein will collaborate with Farm Manager Tim Hines on an engaging presentation about Lexington Community Farm on Wednesday, October 19 from 6:30 – 8:30. They will explore the history of farming on the site, review the mission of the Lexington Community Farm, and describe why its board and staff have chosen to adopt “organic” or sustainable growing practices. The event will take place at Keilty Hall, St. Brigid Church, 2001 Massachusetts Avenue in Lexington, and is free. For more information call 781-860-7440.
