    The Village Garden Club of Dennis presents Holiday House Tour on Saturday, December 9 between 10 – 4. The tour features 6 homes in Dennis and East Dennis that are festively decorated for the season, and the benefit event is open to the public.One home will have a small holiday boutique, another will feature a harpist. Tickets will be $30 the day of the tour at Carleton Hall, Old Bass River Road, Dennis. Advance tickets are $25 and may be purchased at Scout– 776 Rte 6A, Dennis, and Dennis Chamber of Commerce –242 Swan River Road, Dennisport, or by e-mailing villagegardenclubofdennis@gmail.com

  • Saturday, June 22, 9:30 am – 3:30 pm – Village Garden Club of Dennis Garden Tour

    On Saturday, June 22, from 9:30 – 3:30, enjoy the Village Garden Club of Dennis’s Garden Tour.  Maps and tickets are available in advance for $20 at The Barn and Co. on Route 6A in Dennis, as well as through the Dennis Chamber of Commerce.  On the day of the Tour, tickets will be priced at $25 and are available at the Gazebo in Dennis, at the intersection of Route 6A and Old Bass River Road.  For more information you may contact sbaudanza@comcast.net.

  • Saturday, August 25, 10:00 am – Flax Pond “Walk-about”

    The Dennis Conservation Trust is a private, non-profit organization that seeks to preserve open space within the Town of Dennis.  On Saturday, August 25, beginning at 10 am, they will lead a free “walk-about” at Flax Pond in Dennis Village.  Park at the main lot off Setucket Road near the Yarmouth/Dennis town line.  For more information, visit www.dennisconservationtrust.org.

    The Village Garden Club of Dennis will be hosting a self-guided garden tour entitled Discovering the Gardens of Dennis on Saturday, June 25, 2011 from 9:30 AM –3:30 PM.  The tour features eight gardens in Dennis, East Dennis and South Dennis. Throughout the tour, visitors will have an opportunity to enjoy a Seaside Garden boutique, flower arranging demonstrations, tips from expert gardeners, a musician, and a local artist at work.  Tickets can be purchased in advance for $15.00 at the Dennis Chamber of Commerce and Rose Victorian in W. Dennis, and Barn & Co. in Dennis, and through club members.
