The Boston Center for Adult Education has assembled a spectacularly seaworthy crew to steer the course for a lively down-to-earth conversation on Tuesday, January 5, from 6 – 8, about the state of the fishing industry in New England and beyond. Dave Marciano, Captain of the FV Hard Merchandise, was just another salty fisherman from Gloucester trying to feed the world until the National Geographic Channel show Wicked Tuna made a him a reality television star. Jim Turner, of Turner’s Seafood, has spent a lifetime dedicated to the business of fish. Join Billy Costa, co-host of NESN’s Dining Playbook as he leads a deep dive into the passions that drive these men and the work that they were born to do. It’s going to be wicked awesome!
