  • Saturday, July 25, 3:30 pm – Naumkeag Garden Party

    Experience the beauty of Naumkeag at their annual Garden Party.

    Stroll through lush gardens and explore the historic, rare Gilded Age “cottage” while enjoying seasonal cocktails, gourmet bites, and live music. Proceeds from this special event raise crucial support for our continued stewardship and programming of Naumkeag and all Berkshire region properties. This year, there is no valet parking. All parking will still be on site. Friends of Naumkeag and Fletcher Steele level tickets will be parked on our lower-level parking with a quick shuttle to the entrance of the party. All ticket holders purchasing at the Mabel Choate level and above will have preferred parking at the upper-level terrace by our greenhouses.

    Friends of Naumkeag (under age 40): $100
    Fletcher Steele (1 ticket): $185

  • Saturday, July 11, 2:00 pm – 3:15 pm – Garden Party: Stories & Songs of Gardens & Nature

    P-A-R-T-Y in the G-A-R-D-E-N! From clearing the land to planting seeds to harvesting the crops (yum!), Rona will share stories and songs that will have you tapping your feet, swaying in your seats, dancing, singing and laughing as she shares stories from the silly to the serious, from the mysterious to the monstrous! From cooperating animals to uncooperative giants, worms and bugs that help the soil, nocturnal animals, insects, finding the sun and more! Come join the fun! Best suited for ages 5+. Takes place in Welles Gallery. Following the 45-minute performance will be time to create a fun craft! The event, sponsored by the Lenox Library Association, takes place Saturday, July 11 from 2 – 3:15 pm.   • Wednesday, March 11 – Sunday, March 15 – Boston Flower & Garden Show 2020: Garden Party, Celebrating Friends & Family

    The Boston Flower & Garden Show has a century-long history of providing a breath of spring and brief reprieve from the New England winter. The show inspires, educates, and motivates the region’s gardeners. It’s a great place to discover new ideas, and have a lot of fun at the same time.

    The 2020 show runs from March 11 – 15, 2020, and is held at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston. This year’s theme is Garden Party, Celebrating Friends & Family. Tickets may be purchased in advance at www.masshort.org.

  • Wednesday, June 13, 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm – 22nd Annual Rose Garden Party

    Please join Honorary Chairs Mayor Martin J. Walsh and Ms. Lorrie Higgins on Wednesday, June 13 at 5:30 pm in the Kelleher Rose Garden, Back Bay Fens, 73 Park Drive in Boston. Proceeds will benefit free family-friendly programs and events in Boston Parks. Enjoy passed hors d’oeuvre, a buffet, and more, plus live entertainment with a spirited, creative hat contest in a garden party setting, live and silent auction, and en plein air painting demonstration

    At this time of the year, 3,000 rose bushes are at peak bloom at The Kelleher Rose Garden in the Back Bay Fens. Garden Party attire is enthusiastically encouraged!

    Enter the “Hats Galore” Contest by dressing up your finest Rose Garden Party hat! Judges will choose the winners for: Best Fascinator, Most Creative, Most Elegant and Just for Men. $150 per person.   • Thursday, June 15, 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm – Garden Party at Elm Bank

    The Massachusetts Horticultural Society invites you to its Second Annual Garden Party at The Gardens at Elm Bank on Thursday, June 15 from 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm.  Cocktails and hors d’oeuvre will be served, the Henry Platt Jazz Quartet will entertain, and all will get a sneak peek at the to-be-restored mansion at Elm Bank. For one night only, the ballroom of the mansion, decorated by Stephanie Chlan Interiors, will be viewed from the terrace of the Italianate Garden.
