    Meet your local food growers at the Ag Day Farmers Market and the Farm and Garden Fair, featuring activities at more than 20 locations around Concord, Massachusetts on September 7 and 8.

    Purchase fresh veggies, fruit, flowers, eggs and meat on September 7th at the annual Farmer’s Market on the Milldam from 10 am-2 pm in Concord Center followed by Garden Tours and Talks from 2-5 pm, featuring hands-on harvesting fun, planting fall gardens, self-guided garden tours, a visit with Henry Thoreau, and seed saving demos. Check out the chicken coop and meet the goats!  The Kids Film Fest from 2-4 pm is hosted by Emerson Umbrella for children ages 3-10 with post-film activities led by Musketaquid Arts and Environment.
    On September 8th the Fair continues with a focus on Farms and a wide array of harvest activities. Dig potatoes, walk the fields, take hay or tractor rides, learn about sustainable agriculture practices, solar panels, vintage tractors, historic greenhouses and how-to cooking demonstrations.
