  • Now Through January 7 – Downtown Holiday Arts Market

    The Downtown Holiday Arts Market presented by Bank of America, sponsored by the Downtown Boston BID, will run through January 7 in a pop up location at 467 Washington Street.

    Browse, shop, and enjoy the holiday season in Downtown Crossing where numerous local vendors will be showcasing artisan products such as jewelry,  woodcarvings, metal sculptures, food, candles, clothing, holiday goods and so much more throughout the these winter months.  The market is open 7 days a week from 11 am to 7 pm Monday through Saturday, and 11 am to 5 pm on Sundays. The market’s last day will be January 7th, and will be closed Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, and January 2.

  • Saturday, November 18, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm – Holiday Market at the Eustis Estate

    Join Historic New England on November 18 from 10 – 3 for the Fourth Annual Eustis Estate Holiday Market. Enjoy a festive atmosphere and get in the holiday spirit at the 1880s estate. This open air market features a variety of local craftspeople selling unique holiday gifts including jewelry, fiber art, and foodstuffs.  The Eustis Estate is located at 1424 Canton Avenue in Milton.

  • Saturday, December 10, 11:00 am – 7:00 pm – 8th Annual SoWa Holiday Market

    The 8th Annual SoWa Holiday Market in Boston will be held Saturday, December 10, 2011, from 11am – 7pm, at the Cathedral High School, 74 Union Park Street. This year’s Holiday Market will feature over 80 juried artists and designers from around New England. From the fashionably chic to the hip and cutting edge, shoppers are sure to find an original gift for everyone on their list. Expect to find an exceptional array of indie goods, including: handbags, jewelry, pottery, letterpress stationery, silk-screened t-shirts, baby clothes, re-purposed wool accessories and more! This handmade holiday spectacular will take place in SoWa’s Cathedral High School Gym, located in Boston’s trendy SoWa arts and media district.   • Friday, December 4 – Sunday, December 6 – Holly Folly

    Have a Holly Folly Weekend – it’s the best time in P’town.  The festivities begin on Friday, December 4 at 5 pm at the Land’s End Holiday Gala at the Land’s End Inn, 22 Commercial Street.  Free admission.  This decade-old tradition marks the opening to the Annual Holly Folly Festival in Provincetown. Come enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, homemade cookies and great company at this annual holiday celebration open to the public and free of charge at this historic seaside inn in Provincetown’s West End.     Also on Friday night, from 6 – 8, attend the free Opening Reception for Small Works at PAAM, 460 Commercial Street, where a vibrant exhibition of artworks are offered for sale, just in time for holiday giving, in the Hoffman Gallery.

    Saturday, from 11 – 4, enjoy the Holly Folly Farmer’s Market in the Ryder Street Parking Lot, where you will  find wreaths, woodland greens, holly, pine roping, winter vegetables, jams, and other seasonal products.  The Holly Folly Sing-A-Long with Casey & Denise, from 5:30 – 8:30 pm, is also free at the Porchside Bar at the Gifford House Inn, 9 Carver Street.  Concerts and performances continue in the evening.  A Sunday cookie party concludes the festivities.

  • Saturday, November 21 – Berkshire Grown Holiday Farmers Markets

    There will be two Berkshire Grown Holiday Farmers Markets on Saturday, November 21.  The first will be held in Great Barrington at the old firehouse on Castle Street from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm.  The second will be set up at the Williams College Field House on Latham Street in Williamstown, from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.

    Berkshire Grown envisions a community where healthy farms define the open landscape, where a wide diversity of fresh, seasonal food and flowers continue to be readily available to everyone, and where we celebrate our agricultural bounty by buying from our neighboring family farms and savoring their distinctive Berkshire harvest.
