  • Tuesday, December 6, 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm – Landscape Lighting

    On Tuesday, December 6 from 4 – 5:30 at Elm Bank, 900 Washington Street in Wellesley, Joe Biagioni will review the equipment available to stage your own landscape lighting. Homeowners can be quite successful with what is available on the market, and Joe will explain what is needed and how to use it in your landscape.

    Joe Biagioni of Arbor Alliance in Douglas, MA is a senior arborist; he has worked in and around the tree business over 25 years. He has also taught courses for Clark University and Tower Hill, for local organizations, and for Massachusetts Horticultural Society.   • Wednesday, October 20, 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm and Saturday, October 23, 9:00 am – 12:00 noon – Practical Pruning

    Joe Biagioni of Arbor Alliance leads this two session pruning workshop that covers the five basic steps in pruning confidently.  The classes will take place at Tower Hill Botanic Garden, 11 French Drive, Boylston, on Wednesday evening, October 20, from 6 – 9, and on Saturday morning, October 23, from 9 – 12.  Tower Hill member cost is $54, non-members $60.  To register, or for more information, log on to www.towerhillbg.org.

  • Wednesday, October 5, 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm – Low Voltage Landscape Lighting

    Join Joe Biagioni of Arbor Alliance for a hands on workshop that explains and demonstrates the technical aspects of landscape lighting in a way that is easily understood.  The class will be held at Tower Hill Botanic Garden, 11 French Drive in Boylston, on Wednesday, October 6, from 6 – 9, and there is a $35 fee for members of THBG and $40 for non-members.  Register at www.towerhillbg.org.

  • Friday to Sunday, April 30 – May 2, 10-5 – Arbor Day Weekend at Tower Hill

    Celebrate Arbor Day at Tower Hill Botanic Garden in Boylston, Massachusetts.  The first twenty five first time visitors will receive a free tree sapling.  Tree plantings and tours will occur each day at 2 pm.  The Gift Shop will be having a 20% off sale on everything they carry.  On Friday and Sunday at noon, arborist Joe Biagioni will give a one hour pruning demonstration – meet at the Entry Garden and dress for weather.  Also there will be a variety of childrens’ activities, including a scavenger hunt.  For more information and directions, log on to www.towerhillbg.org.
