    Celebrate spring with a self-guided tour of Lexington gardens on Saturday, June 8, from 10:00 -4:00 PM, rain or shine.

    Each garden is maintained solely by the owner. Each tour stop is different; each garden is unique and has something special to offer. Garden owners will be on hand to share knowledge about their plantings. Artists will be working in each garden.

    To order tickets ($25 in advance, $30 on day of tour), visit Lexington Garden Club’s website.

    Decorative ribbon poles signal your entry. Visit the gardens in any order you choose. Greeters will meet you at the garden entrance. Please show your tour booklet to gain entry. Park carefully and do not block driveways. Rest room facilities can be found at the Visitors Center and Cary Memorial Library.

  • Wednesday, March 13, 9:30 am – Sugar, Sex and Poison: Shocking Plant Secrets Caught on Camera

    Engaging speaker, horticulturist, author, and photographer Bill Cullina will entertain The Lexington Garden Club, and the public, again on Wednesday, March 13, beginning at 9:30 am at the National Heritage Museum, 33 Marrett Road in Lexington. This time the Executive Director of Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens will give us a close-up view of the many clever and beautiful ways plants defend themselves and attract animals, insects and other partners in the work of pollination, seed dispersal, and nutrient acquisition. We’ll also have an opportunity to purchase Bill’s books before and after his talk.  Free.

  • Wednesday, November 14, 9:30 am – Jaw-Dropping, Traffic-Stopping, Get-Your-Neighbors-Talking Container Gardens for All Seasons

    Deborah Trickett, an award-winning container garden designer, certified horticulturist, and frequent lecturer at flower shows and other venues, will show you how to use uncommon plants and materials for exceptionally beautiful results. Lucky winners will take home unusual accents and plants to add pizzazz to their holiday or springtime arrangements. This free program is sponsored by the Lexington Garden Club and will take place Wednesday, November 14 at the National Heritage Museum, 33 Marrett Road (at the intersection of Route 2A and Massachusetts Avenue), with coffee at 9:30 and program at 10.
