Permaculture is the design of food systems and social structures to provide for human needs while restoring ecosystem health. In this Massachusetts Horticultural Society Introduction to Permaculture Design presentation, we will explore edible ecosystem gardens, unusual edible perennial plants, sustainable water management and soil rehabilitation. Learn the first steps in creating a regenerative landscape design plan utilizing permaculture design principles. The event takes place Thursday, February 4 from 7 – 8:30 in the Parkman Room of the Education Building, 900 Washington Street in Wellesley. $12 for Mass Hort members, $20 for nonmembers.
