She has studied with noted floral designers Francoise Weeks, Holly Chapple, and Hitomi Galliam. Mary Beth loves to share the techniques she has learned with others so we can all “play with flowers” and create beautiful, natural flower arrangements and more.

    Make a bodacious, fragrant peony centerpiece at New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill on June 8 from 1 – 3 with instructor Mary Beth Hayes. We’ll use locally-grown peonies and unique foliage and textural elements. Prepare to be wowed with peony beauty! Please bring your own clippers, and all other supplies provided.

    Decorate a real mini-pumpkin using cut flowers, succulents, air plants, moss and foliage.  Your adorable embellished pumpkin will last for several months! This New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill workshop takes place October 22 from 1 – 3 with instructor Mary Beth Hayes.

    Join Tower Hill Botanic Garden and instructor Mary Beth Hayes on Sunday, October 14 from 1 – 2:30, and decorate white mini-pumpkins with succulents, moss, cut flowers and berries. Learn techniques of using floral adhesives and plants to create a long-lasting decorative pumpkin. All supplies will be provided. Registrants are encouraged to bring their own clippers. Let’s create pretty pumpkins!

    Learn techniques to create your own distinctive, beautiful bracelets, earrings, necklaces and floral “tattoos” using fresh flowers. Mary Beth Hayes will conduct a Tower Hill Botanic Garden workshop on Floral Jewelry on Saturday, August 4 from 1 – 2:30. We’ll use seasonal flowers from local flower farmers. All supplies will be provided, including blank jewelry. Registrants are encouraged to bring their own clippers, and can also bring their own jewelry to decorate. Come and create some beauty to wear!
