  • Saturday, May 2, 8:30 am – 12:00 noon – Alley Rally/ Love Your Block 2026

    The Back Bay will sparkle on Saturday, May 2, as Alley Rally returns. Meet at the Clarendon Street Playground, 8:30 am, at the corner of Clarendon Street and Commonwealth Avenue, for coffee and doughnuts. At 9 am you will check in, hear welcome remarks, and head off to clean your block with tools provided by the City of Boston. At 11, return your tools to the Playground. Stay and enjoy refreshments and live music with your neighbors. Questions? Email info@nabbonline.org. The Neighborhood Association of the Back Bay initiated Alley Rally in the 1970’s, and it’s stronger than ever.

  • Wednesday, April 22, 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm – Earth Day 2026 Forum: Geothermal Networks, The Path to Fossil Freedom

    The Earth Day 2026 Forum will be hosted by the Neighborhood Association of the Back Bay on Wednesday, April 22 from 5 pm – 7:30 pm in Rabb Hall at the Boston Public Library’s main branch in Copley Square.   • Monday, March 23, 5:30 pm – Walk in the Park Night

    Join the Boston Police Department and the Neighborhood Association of the Back Bays Block Captains of Back Bay for an evening walk through our neighborhood parks on Monday, March 23rd at 5:30 pm, starting at Copley Square Park and heading to the Commonwealth Ave Mall. (Rain Date: Tuesday, March 24th)

    Meet local officers, share observations about park conditions and safety, and connect with neighbors working together to keep Back Bay welcoming for everyone.

    A NABB members-only gathering takes place on March 29 at The Newbury Boston. Indulge in an elegant atmosphere filled with good company, delightful drinks—including beer, wine, and a specialty cocktail—and an array of exquisite hors d’oeuvre crafted to tantalize your taste buds.

    This is your opportunity to connect with fellow Neighborhood Association of the Back Bay members, both old and new, while learning about the dedicated volunteer committees that tirelessly work to enhance and preserve the charm of our historic neighborhood.   • September 6, 12:00 noon – 3:00 pm – NABB Block Party

    Come join The Neighborhood Association of the Back Bay on September 6 at noon (rain date September 13) for the most requested activity from the Back Bay Quality of Life Survey—a Block Party to meet your Back Bay neighbors. We are planning exciting activities for all ages. Enjoy ice cream, entertainment, and local food. Admission is free, with most food and beverages free. It will take place on the Commonwealth Avenue Mall, between Clarendon and Dartmouth Streets, at the Patrick Collins statue with a check-in table at the Clarendon Street entrance.

    Please register in advance to ensure food and beverage accuracy.

    Join Neighborhood Association of the Back Bay members, neighbors, and friends for some beer garden fun! The beer garden offers a vibrant atmosphere with customer seating, restrooms, and entertainment. NABB will have an area reserved for this event. $25.00 per person includes two drink tickets. North East of the Border taqueria food truck will be on-site, where food will be available for purchase.
