  • Wednesday, August 5, 11:00 am – 4:00 pm – 2026 Nantucket House Tour: Promenade on the Point

    The 70th Annual House And Garden Tour, “PROMENADE ON THE POINT” will be held on August 5, 2026 from 11-4. The House and Garden Tour is the Nantucket Garden Club’s sole fundraiser, and its impact reaches far beyond a single summer day. Proceeds directly benefit organizations and programs on the island, such as Civic Improvements; Grants for Beautification, Conservation, and Environmental Education; and scholarships for local students. Every ticket sold helps preserve the natural and cultural heritage of Nantucket for generations to come. This year’s tour features homes and gardens on Brant Point. Check-in for the tour will be located at the Brant Point Coast Guard Station, 10 Easton Street. Shuttle buses will operate continuously from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM between Town and the Brant Point Coast Guard Station. $100. Purchase tickets in advance online HERE.


    This annual event features a curated selection of historic and contemporary homes and gardens across rotating neighborhoods. You will enjoy:

  • Friday, April 24 – Sunday, April 26 – 2026 Nantucket Daffodil Festival

    Plan ahead – the 2026 Nantucket Daffodil Festival is coming April 24 – April 26. The 49th Annual Daffodil Show by the Nantucket Garden Club will be held in the greenhouses at Bartlett’s Farm on Saturday, April 25 from 2-5pm & Sunday, April 26 from 10am to 3pm. This year’s theme is “It’s Daffy Time… Let’s Dance!” Visit town early to view 100 decorated vintage cars line up on Main Street: staging begins at 9:30 AM. The parade starts at noon, with cars driven in a loop downtown before heading up Orange Street and out to ‘Sconset. Parade participants only park on the right; spectators may set up their picnics on the left. A Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce signature event. If you stay in town for Daffy Saturday, you can participate in the Daffodil Hat Pageant at 10 am, the Children’s Beach Bike Parade at 10:35 am, and NiSHA’s Daffodil Dog Parade shortly after 12 noon. The Morris Dancers are sure to show up & perform. Bring a blanket and set up a picnic for family and friends on the lawn at Children’s Beach.

  • Sunday, December 28 – Nantucket Christmas Bird Count (Registration Deadline December 19)

    The Nantucket Christmas Bird Count takes place this year on Sunday, December 28. Bird Counts will be conducted throughout the country, so if you’re not in Nantucket you can find an event near you at https://www.audubon.org/community-science/christmas-bird-count/join-christmas-bird-count.   • Wednesday, September 10, 4:30 pm – 7:00 pm – Understanding Local Change

    The Nantucket Climate Change Summit 2025 hosts Bernadette Woods Placky, Chief Meteorologist, Climate Central, for a talk entitled From Storms to Shorelines: Connecting Weather, Water, and Climate Change. The Nantucket Conservation Foundation and the Linda Loring Nature Foundation will present the program, sponsored in part by the Great Harbor Yacht Club Foundation and by the Community Foundation for Nantucket.   • Wednesday, September 10, 4:30 pm – 7:00 pm – Nantucket Climate Change Summit

    Join the Nantucket Conservation Foundation and the Linda Loring Nature Foundation for the third annual Nantucket Climate Change Summit.

    Exploring how Nantucket is adapting to the impacts of Climate Change, island researchers, managers, and local experts from various fields share how they see climate change is changing their work. This Summit will be a chance to learn about current work happening right on our island and discuss the opportunities for adaptation for the island’s future.

    Short talks will be followed by a moderated panel of our speakers.

    After the Summit, a social hour will be held to connect with your neighbors. Light food and beverages will be provided.

    In partnership with ReMain Nantucket and the Great Harbor Yacht Club, the Summit will be held September 10th, 2025 at the Great Harbor Yacht Club, 4:30 pm- 7:00pm.

  • Friday, July 11 – Saturday, July 12 – Art with Blooms Gallery Walk

    On July 11 and 12, the Nantucket Garden Club, in collaboration with the Artist’s Association of Nantucket, the Nantucket Arts Council and selected Nantucket town galleries presents the Art with Blooms Gallery Walk. This event showcases well-known local artists and Nantucket Garden Club flower arrangers who interpret a chosen work of art in each gallery with creative flower arrangements. The Art with Blooms Gallery Walk brings new excitement to our Nantucket art scene and is open to the public free of charge. In alternating years, the Club hosts the Community Green Thumb Flower Show, a GCA Show, which features flower arrangements by members and local residents, horticulture entries as well as photography and education. This show is well-attended by visitors and residents.

  • Thursday, April 24 – Sunday, April 27 – Nantucket Daffodil Festival 2025

    The 2025 Daffodil Festival on Nantucket, April 24 – 27, includes art shows, a pet show, tours, exhibitions, contests, lectures, and, of course, the Garden Club’s annual Nantucket Daffodil Flower Show. There are activities for all ages, and faithful festival-goers dress up for the occasion and participate enthusiastically. In addition to the Antique Car Parade, window decorating contest, and the famous ‘Sconset Tailgate Picnic, the Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce organizes a Daffy Hat Contest, a Children’s Parade featuring decorated bikes, strollers, wagons, and other self-propelled vehicles, and a family picnic at Children’s Beach.   • Wednesday, August 14, 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm – An Evening with American Farmland Trust and Island Partners

    Join the American Farmland Trust, the Nantucket Land Bank, Sustainable Nantucket and Remain on Wednesday, August 14 at 6:30 pm at The Nantucket Atheneum, 1 India Street in Nantucket. Keynote remarks will be made by John Piotti, AFT’s President and CEO, who grew up on Nantucket. Register by August 5. The event is free and open to the public.   • Friday, December 2 – Sunday, December 4 – Nantucket Christmas Stroll

    Nantucket is particularly enchanting during the holiday season, when New England’s finest traditions come alive for the 48th Annual Christmas Stroll Weekend, December 2nd – 4th, 2022, part of Nantucket Noel, a months-long celebration organized by the Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce.

    The Annual Christmas Stroll Weekend is a community holiday celebration attracting visitors from around the world. Santa Claus arrives to the island via  Coast Guard vessel and rides up Main Street in a jolly red fire truck accompanied by the Town Crier. Carolers in Victorian costumes, bell ringers, student choirs and other musicians perform on the Main Street stage as well as stroll through town performing, all the while visitors can enjoy Nantucket’s unique shops and restaurants.
