    Friday, July 27, 6:30 pm – Feast for the Farms

    Historic New England invites you to a festive evening of farm-to-table dining, live music, and dancing at Casey Farm, 2325 Boston Neck Road, Saunderstown, Rhode Island, on Friday, July 27, beginning at 6:30 pm. . Enjoy Rhode Island oysters, delicious cocktails, locally crafted wine and beer, and delectable dishes using ingredients from the farm, which has a view of Narragansett Bay. Proceeds support the preservation of Casey Farm and nearby Watson Farm, along with education programs that serve thousands of Rhode Island children each year.

    $175 per person ($105 tax-deductible)

  • Wednesday, September 24 – Friday, September 26 – Rhode Island Garden Tour

    Join The Polly Hill Arboretum for a visit to southeastern Rhode Island September 24 – 26. This historic area is rich with diversity, natural beauty and culture. We will be based in the Narragansett Bay town of Bristol for two nights. Thursday we travel to Little Compton to visit three spectacular private gardens, with lunch included. Friday we have a special tour at nearby Blithewold Gardens concluding with a boxed lunch at the mansion. Plan your trip to include extra time to explore many other area attractions on your own, including Green Animals Topiary Gardens, Herreshoff Marine Museum/ America’s Cup Hall of Fame, self-guided town tree tour, and more!

    On Sunday, July 14, from 4 – 8, children and adults alike are invited to frolic in the whimsical and historic topiary garden overlooking Narragansett Bay, 380 Cory’s Lane in Portsmouth, with music, rides, food and fun.   • Tuesday, July 14, 4 – 8 pm – Children’s Party at Green Animals Topiary Garden

    Children and adults of all ages are invited to join the festivities at the Preservation Society of Newport County’s annual Children’s Party at Green Animals Topiary Garden, 380 Cory’s Lane, Portsmouth, Rhode Island. The party will feature circus acts, music, magic, clowns, puppets, pony rides, kiddie rides, refreshments and much more on this historic seven acre estate overlooking Narragansett Bay.  No reservations required, and tickets are sold at the door only.
