    View the Natick Garden Club’s unique floral arrangements inspired by books and art created by Natick Art Association artists. The exhibit takes place May 4 and 5 in the Morse Room and Lebowitz Meeting Hall at the Morse Institute Library, 14 East Central Street in Natick.

  • Thursday, May 16, 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm – Natick Garden Club Auction

    Come one, come all to the annual Natick Garden Club Plant Auction on Thursday, May 16, beginning at 6:30 pm at the Natick Community/Senior Center, 117 East Central Street in Natick. The sale features plants from members’ gardens, plus door prizes raffled off during the evening. In years past these have included large hanging baskets, small rose bushes, specimen plants, gardening hand tools and hand care items, and service certificates for work in your home garden.   • Thursday, April 18, 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm – Spring Ephemerals

    The Natick Garden Club welcomes Joan Butler and Jana Milbocker on Thursday, April 18, beginning at 7 at the Natick Community Senior Center, 117 East Central Street in Natick, in the Great Room on the first floor. Joan Butler and Jana Milbocker of Enchanted Gardens Landscape Design in Holliston are garden designers, writer and lecturers. They will introduce us to the joys of Spring Ephemerals, those wonderful wildflowers that bloom in early spring, then disappear for the rest of the year. They have authored weekly gardening articles for the Holliston Reporter, Holliston Tab and Gatehouse Media, Inc., which have been published nationally.  Image from www.hoosiergardener.com.   • Thursday, March 21, 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm – Creating Sustainable Landscapes

    The Natick Garden Club welcomes Warren Leach, co-owner of Tranquil Lake Nursery on Thursday, March 21, beginning at 7 at the Natick Community Senior Center, 117 East Central Street in Natick, in the Great Room on the first floor. Mr. Leach is a landscape designer and horticulturist. He will explore design themes for sustainable landscapes.

    A sustainable landscape is visually pleasing as well as environmentally friendly. The sustainable planting design balances the local climatic and geological conditions with cultural needs of plant maintenance by minimal resources, such as fertilizers, pesticides, energy, water and time.  $5 fee for the public.  Image from www.borealislandscape.com.
