  • Thursday, May 11, 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm – Vertical Gardening Workshop

Vertical gardening is a great way to grow more food in a small space. Join The Trustees on May 11 at 5:30 pm for a free workshop where we’ll discuss a variety of trellising techniques for crops like melons, cucumbers, tomatoes, peas and beans and how to construct them yourself. We’ll leave time for general gardening Q&A at the end.

Norton Stonehurst Community Garden is located at 88 Norton Street in Dorchester. The garden is accessible via the Fairmount Line, the Red Line, and buses. There is generally street parking in the neighborhood. The gates and pathways are wheelchair accessible. For more info, reach out to mdelima@thetrustees.org.

If you’re able, please consider supporting our gardens through the optional program fee when you register.
