  • Thursday, July 7, 11:45 am – 12:30 pm, & 1:00 pm – 1:45 pm – Fresh, Fast and Delicious for Less

Project Bread Chef Vanessa LaBranche leads this free cooking demonstration at The KITCHEN at Boston Public Market to teach market patrons how to prepare healthy meals on a budget. Enjoy simple, tasty recipes that do not require a lot of time, skill, or money to prepare. Classes (Thursday, July 7, two sessions starting at 11:45 and 1:00 pm) are open to all. Project Bread takes a fresh approach to ending hunger. They believe that the opposite of hungry isn’t simply full – it’s healthy. • Wednesday, December 4, 7:30 pm – A Christmas Story, The Musical

Join 7NEWS on Wednesday, December 4 at 7:30 pm as they host a special performance at the Citi Performing Arts Center, Wang Theater, of A Christmas Story, The Musical, proceeds to benefit Project Bread.  It all begins with food. Good food nourishes the body and the spirit.  With regular meals, a child is free to grow, to think, to ask a question, to tell a joke.  Good food brings laughter and a sense of belonging.  And, who knows, it just might help you learn to dance.  Project Bread is dedicated to alleviating, preventing, and ultimately ending hunger in Massachusetts.  A portion of this night’s proceeds will help fill plates and holiday baskets at some of the 400 emergency food programs throughout the state.  To learn more about making a donation over the holidays, visit www.projectbread.org. To order tickets, visit http://www.citicenter.org/show/1758/.
