  • Saturday, July 18, 10:30 am – 12:00 noon – Boston Greenspace Alliance President’s Walk on Riverway Park

    Riverway Park is a key part of Frederick Law Olmsted’s Emerald Necklace. After years of neglect, the park has been improved by the Muddy River Restoration Project. Learn more about Riverway Park’s history, recent changes, and future on a guided walk with Brookline GreenSpace Alliance President Sean Lynn-Jones on Saturday, July 18. The walk will start at 10:30 a.m. at the Longwood MBTA station on the “D” branch of the Green Line. Total distance will be about 1.25 miles. Participation is limited to 25 people.   • Saturday, May 30 – Monday, September 7 – 27th Urban Symphony

    Studios Without Walls presents the 27th Annual Urban Symphony, an exhibition of site responsive sculpture in Riverway Park. The Meet the Artists reception will take place Saturday, May 30 from 2 – 4 (rain date Sunday, May 31). The self guided treasure hunt and tours will occur daily. Pick up your map and clues in the red information boxes along Riverway Park, next to the Longwood T Station in Brookline.

  • Saturday, August 27 11:00 am – 1:00 pm – The Ground We Walk Guided Tour

    Join the Society of Arts + Crafts for a special guided tour of the outdoor exhibition, “THE GROUND WE WALK,” located at Riverway Park, Brookline (near the Longwood T stop on Chapel Street). The tour will be led by one of the exhibiting artists. Studios Without Walls is a Brookline-based collaborative group of sculptors and conceptual artists who have been since 1997, producing art in outdoor public settings.

  • Through September 7 – Studios Without Walls: See Change 2020

    The Emerald Necklace Conservancy invites you to enjoy the final days of Studios Without Walls: See Change 2020, hostd by Brookline Parks and Open Spaces, on the Riverway Park, next to the Longwood T Station in Brookline, through September 7. This exhibition of site responsive sculpture includes work by Gail Bos, Grey Held, Liz Helfer, Linda Hoffman, Janet Kawada, Bette Ann Libby, Madeleine Lord, Julie Lupien Nussbaum, Maria Ritz, Bob Shannahan, Marnie Sinclair, Allen Spivack, and Delanie Wise.
