    Join us June 28-30 for self-guided walking tours of private gardens located in historic Newport, Rhode Island. Each tour features about a dozen beautiful gardens. The tours run daily from 10 am. until 4 pm and and tickets are limited with only 350 to be sold for each day. Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 day of tour. https://www.secretgardentours.org/

    Since 1984, the organizers and supporters of The Secret Garden Tour have been dedicated to enhancing art education and cultural programs in Aquidneck Island’s Public Schools, funding dozens of programs in music, theater and fine arts for local schoolchildren. To date, The Secret Garden Tour has given more than $1 million to Aquidneck Island students in public schools for cultural programs and the arts.

  • Sunday, July 14, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm – Provincetown Art Association & Museum 16th Annual Secret Garden Tour

    Gardening enthusiasts will enjoy this double header garden experience on Cape Cod on Sunday, July 14, from 10 – 3. The day begins with a self-guided walking tour of gorgeous secret gardens in Provincetown’s central east end—through hidden stone paths and crooked wooden walkways into borders and beds of specimen plants, common and exotic flowers, and lush greenery. The owners and tenders of fragrant and visually stunning Provincetown gardens plan to welcome many new and return visitors. Ticket-holders will receive a map and booklet with stories and details about each garden.

    Visitors are then invited to The Provincetown Art Association and Museum (PAAM) at 460 Commercial Street to tour the Art of the Garden exhibition in air-conditioned galleries. All proceeds from the event benefit PAAM exhibitions and educational programs.

  • Sunday, July 12, 11 – 5 – Secret Gardens of Saratoga Springs

    Some Garden Club of the Back Bay members and supporters travel to the beautiful Saratoga Springs area to sample the summer offerings of the New York City Ballet, among other activities in this neck of the woods.  If you happen to be in the area, take the time to attend this lovely Garden Tour. This will be the 15th annual tour that Soroptimist International of Saratoga County organizes.  The tour raises money for improving the lives of women and girls in local communities and throughout the world.

    Soroptimist International of Saratoga County is part of the international organization Soroptimist International of the Americas, Inc. There are over 1,500 Soroptimist clubs in 20 countries and territories in North, Central and South America, Guam, Japan, Korea, the Philippines and Taiwan.

    Globally, Soroptimists make a difference by focusing their efforts in six areas:  economic and social development, education, environment, health, human rights/status of women and international goodwill and understanding.  On a local level they address these concerns through awareness, advocacy and action.

    Each year they raise funds that are donated back to the local community in support of programs for women and girls.  Their signature events include Cabin Fever and the Secret Garden Tour.

    Soroptimist Live Your Dream Campaign inspires women and girls to live their dreams and encourages them to pass on their good fortune to others.

    The tour will be Sunday, July 12th from 11:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m.  Tickets are $15 in advance; $20 the day of the tour.  We strongly recommend pre-purchasing tickets.  This popular tour sells out every year!  Tickets can be purchased at The Arts Center, 320 Broadway Avenue in Saratoga Springs.  For more information call Lorrie Anthony at (518) 899-5086.
