    The Heritage Museums and Gardens, 67 Grove Street in Sandwich is the setting for the 2023 Southeastern District Standard Flower Show. This major flower show is presented at Heritage by the Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts Southeastern District’s garden clubs and its award-winning Design & Horticulture Study Group. See beautiful, creative floral designs, lush seasonal horticulture, fascinating educational displays, and artistic crafts alongside Heritage Museums & Gardens’ renowned collections.   • Saturday, July 16 – Sunday, July 24, 12:00 noon – 10:00 pm – Handwork

    The Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts, Inc, and the Southeastern District present “Handwork” a standard flower show at the Barnstable County Fair,  Fair hours: July 16 -24 , 12:00 noon – 10:00 pm.  Cost: Fair Admission ($10 adult, $8 Seniors and Military, Children under 12 free).  The Barnstable County Fair has been an annual summer tradition on Cape Cod for 164 years.     The Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts, Inc. and the Southeastern District presents “A Garden Tour”, a standard flower show at the Barnstable County Fair,  Fair hours: 12:00 pm – 10:00 pm every day.  Entries are open to all members of the Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts, Inc. and any members of National Garden Clubs, Inc.  New entry days are Saturday, July 17 and Wednesday, July 21.  An exhibitors’ meeting will take place Friday, June 11, at 9:30 am.  For more information on entering, contact Flower Show Chairman Robin Murphy at 508-295-9076, or email heroncreekdesign@msn.com.  For a complete schedule or entry information contact Hila Lyman, Design Division Entries Chairman, at 508-548-0841, or email her at hilajeanne@comcast.net.

Southeastern District Design & Horticulture Study Group presents dramatic floral designs, witty artistic crafts, intriguing educational exhibits and lush seasonal horticulture by the region’s most accomplished award-winning designers and horticulturalists inspired by the milestones, history and collection of Heritage Museums & Gardens.  Heritage Museums & Gardens is located at 67 Grove Street (at Pine Street), Sandwich, Massachusetts.  Directions may be obtained at www.heritagemuseumsandgardens.org.  Free with museum admission.
