    The Trustees of Reservations and the Sustainable Business Network of Massachusetts are excited to present a series of Garden Mixology Classes this summer. Attendees will learn how to craft 3 unique cocktails using local spirits while enjoying appetizers from local caterers and restaurants, all while in a unique urban garden setting.

    Join them on Thursday, August 4 in Northampton Street Community Garden in the South End for the third class. Privateer is our featured rum distiller and delicious Filipino cuisine will be provided by Pamangan.

    The Sustainable Business Network of Massachusetts will sponsor a free outdoor festival on the Rose Kennedy Greenway on Sunday, September 20 from 11 – 5 that showcases farmers, local restaurants, food trucks, specialty food producers, fisher folks, and organizations focusing on healthy food and fitness from New England. The festival also features lively chef & DIY demos, a seafood throwdown competition, diverse music and performances, family fun zone and more.     Join Sustainable Business Network of Massachusetts on Sunday, October 6th, 2013 from 11am-5pm for the 4th Annual Boston Local Food Festival.

    For one spectacular day each year, SBN transforms the Rose Kennedy Greenway and the City of Boston into the nation’s largest local & sustainable food hub. Boston Local Food Festival is a free outdoor festival that showcases farmers, local restaurants, food trucks, specialty food producers, fisher folks, and organizations focusing on healthy food and fitness from New England. The festival also features lively chef & DIY demos, a seafood throwdown competition, diverse music and performances, family fun zone and more.

    Festival goers learn about the benefits of sustainably grown and produced food, shop the market, eat delicious local food, participate in fun, educational activities and exhibits, engage with top local chefs and enjoy local music.     Hyper Local Craft Brewfest, to be held Friday, June 14 from 6:30 – 9:30 at The Armory, 191 Highland Avenue in Somerville, is an annual event from Sustainable Business Network of Massachusetts (SBN) to highlight and promote local brewers, vintners, artisan beverage makers, distillers, home brewers, and food vendors and is a major annual fundraiser for SBN’s Boston Local Food Programs. The goal of SBN’s Boston Local Food Program is to transform the local food system by raising awareness about the abundance of wonderful locally grown and produced products in Massachusetts and New England and by encouraging individual consumers, food and beverage producers, and vendors to Think Local First. $35, and you may register by calling 617-395-7680 or at hyperlocalbrew.eventbrite.com.
