    In this Tuesday, November 24 workshop, from 6 – 8, Scott Clarke, a noted gardener and floral designer, will help you create a Thanksgiving centerpiece to adorn your dinner table. Learn how to prepare flowers for arranging, the art of creating a compelling design, and tips for extending the longevity of your creation.

    All materials will be provided including fresh flowers, grasses, and seasonal elements. No experience needed. $80 per person, $60 for Members of Gore Place. Gore Place is located at 52 Gore Street in Waltham.

    Decorate your Thanksgiving table with the bounty of the season! Make a beautiful, long-lasting centerpiece in the Williamsburg tradition. Betsy Williams will use fresh fall flowers, fruits, vegetables, fragrant herbs and seasonal berries combined with preserved leaves to celebrate our National Day of Thanks. We will create an arrangement that says abundance! Choose a container suitable for your table from a selection supplied by the instructor.   • Tuesday, November 22, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm – Make it and Take it: Thanksgiving Floral Centerpiece

    In this Boston Center for Adult Education workshop you will learn the secret of professional floral designers.  Fresh seasonal flowers will be used to create a long-lasting centerpiece that will be the focus of your table or could be used as a gift.  Fall colors, leaves, and a re-usable container will be employed.  Go home with an impressive floral creation.  The workshop, taking place Tuesday, November 22, from 6 – 8, will cost $35, plus a materials cost of $18 (members of the BCAE pay $30 plus the materials cost), and the instructor is Laurie Marino.  You may sign up at www.bcae.org.  Image from www.tasteofhome.com.
