  • Friday, July 18, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm – Boothbay Region Garden Club Home and Garden Tour

The 2025 Boothbay Region Home and Garden Tour will be held on July 18th from 9am until 4pm. It will be a walking tour at Ocean Point featuring 6 cottages and the Wilson Chapel.

We have rented the Casino to have arts and crafts and music. There will be bathroom facilities, parking and some tables and chairs. The Ocean Point Inn Restaurant will also be open for lunch. We will divide the tickets into morning tickets 9-12:30 and afternoon tickets 12:30-4. The guests will pick up their wristbands at Ocean Point when they provide proof of purchase. They will also receive a brochure which will have a walking map and booties that they will use when entering each cottage.

Please note: There will be no parking at any of the cottages on the tour so everyone will need to prepare to walk to each house that they want to see and try to carpool since parking will be limited to the parking lot at the Casino and Grimes Cove parking lot. • Friday, July 20, 9:30 am – 4:30 pm – The Sea Around Us Home and Garden Tour

The beautiful Boothbay Peninsula in Maine is the setting for Boothbay Region Garden Club’s annual tour, this year entitled The Sea Around Us. Each year they try to include homes and gardens in attractive and unfamiliar locations to give the visitor an opportunity to see Boothbay’s wonderful and varied communities. Some homes are new and some are old, but each has its own special appeal.

You will be delighted to see what the gracious homeowners have accomplished with their properties. If you enjoy seeing different architecture, furnishings, and gardens you will have the opportunity to gather some new ideas, learn a few things about gardens, and just have a fun-filled day in the Boothbay area! Tickets for our Home and Garden Tour are $30 in advance and $35 the day of the tour. They may be purchased at the Boothbay Harbor Chamber of Commerce at 192 Townsend Ave., Boothbay Harbor or by contacting Irene Gerny 207-633-5052 or Pat McMurry 207-633-7405.

PROCEEDS FROM THE TOUR HELP PROVIDE FUNDS FOR THE MANY PROJECTS OF THE CLUB:

    * Scholarships for advance education concerning the study of ecology, marine biology, horticulture, botany and earth sciences.

    * YMCA Camperships for local children
