  • Sunday, June 11, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm – Through the Garden Gate: A Tour of Dover’s Private Gardens

    Peek into the world of eight private gardens in Dover, at “Through the Garden Gate” a special event in conjunction with the Dover Benefit Fund. At this limited access Tour, you’ll drive to eight locations to see residential gardens of all types, including the pollinator garden and sensory garden at Powisset Farm. Upon arriving at the Powisset stop on the Tour, you’ll sample an infused beverage, and enjoy cookies and lemonade in the Farm Store. The garden tour starts in Dover Center, where a special marketplace will feature food, face painting for children, live music and more.

    The June 11 Tour begins at the marketplace, 32 Dedham Street in Dover Center, where ticketholders check-in. The event is rain or shine. Tickets are limited and may be purchased at this link in advance.

  • Saturday, June 20, 9:30 am – 3:30 pm – Through the Garden Gate

    On Saturday, June 20, 2015 The Perennial Planters Garden Club of Manchester, CT will host its Through the Garden Gate private garden tour. The tour is from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., rain or shine and it features 7 unique gardens.

    Advanced tickets cost $20. Tickets can be purchased starting May 14th in Manchester at Garden Sales, 212 Oakland St.; Woodland Gardens, 168 Woodland St.; Highland Park Market, 317 Highland St. and in Glastonbury at Highland Park Market, 1320 Manchester Rd.

    Enjoy color and artistry as garden club members of the Central North and Central South Districts of the Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts, Inc. present Through The Garden Gate, a Standard Flower Show, at Tower Hill Botanic Garden, 11 French Drive in Boylston, MA, from Friday, November 9 through Sunday, November 11.  The hours are Friday and Saturday, 9 – 5, and Sunday, 9 – 4.  Sixty floral designs will be displayed along with unique botanical arts and crafts, and educational displays.  For directions, visit www.towerhillbg.org.
