  • Saturday, March 2 – Tuesday, March 5 – Utopia: The New Boston Flower Show 2023

    Great news!  Although the Boston Flower Show, an early-spring favorite of New England gardening enthusiasts and professionals for decades, became a Covid pandemic casualty, its void will be filled by a new and exciting lifestyle show, the Utopia Horticultural and Epicurean Festival.

    Utopia Seaport, designed to appeal to avid gardeners and foodies alike, takes place from March 2 – 5 at the Flynn Cruiseport Terminal in the South Boston Waterfront neighborhood.

    Look for the Massport’s Cruise Terminal three floors to be filled with fantastic new experiences and entertainment, including immersive garden displays, a culinary demonstration stage, free tastings, workshops, a “Gardener’s Toolbench” featuring acclaimed horticulturalists, a cafe, a food hall, a “Mainstreet Marketplace” with over 100 artisans and makers, and even a live DJ.

    Don’t miss this unique event, designed to let us dream about spring as we gaze upon the lush gardens and gorgeous floral displays while also savoring some of Boston’s best culinary and beverage delights.

    Meander through garden and Floral installations to re-connect you to nature during the height of hibernation and inspire your spring planting plans. Engage in demonstrations & tastings with New England’s talented chefs, mixologists, and independent wine, beer and spirits producers to tantalize your taste buds. Explore Main Street Marketplace with over 100 diverse and locally owned artisans & makers featuring home décor, houseplants, garden products, and kitchen essentials. The event will take place Tuesday, March 2 from 10 am – 8 pm, and Sunday from 10 – 6, at the Black Falcon Cruise Terminal in the Boston Seaport. This show is ahead of the industry mainstream by presenting a top-quality show full of creative ideas, educational opportunities, broad appeal, wonderful entertainment, and value for the dollar. Get your hands moving with workshops featuring charcuterie boards by Buck & Bloom, oyster & caviar tastings from Wulf’s Fish, plant styling from Boston Cityscapes, and garden inspired cocktails from Garnish Girl.     Join us for an evening in Boston’s Seaport for an exclusive first-look at New England’s Premier Horticulture and Epicurean Festival, Utopia Seaport.   • Saturday, August 4, 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm – Utopia

    Please join the Hancock Shaker Village in Pittsfield on Saturday, August 4 from 5:30 – 9 for its Summer Gala, Utopia. Cocktails in the garden begin at 5:30, followed by a farm-to-table dinner (truly!) in the Round Stone Barn, catered by Brian Alberg.
