  • Monday, May 4, 11:30 am – Women’s Lunch Place Virtual Lunch

The Women’s Lunch Place is excited to invite you to join them on May 4th, as WLP transforms the 9th annual spring luncheon, eat LUNCH give, from an in-person gathering to an online fundraiser and tribute to our mission – to welcome guests with dignity and respect.

They would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the WLP community for its continued support during these challenging times. The women served are counting on the WLP to stand with them as we all face the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. These women, who fight daily to survive homelessness and poverty, are now facing a daunting new reality. Eat LUNCH give provides one of the largest sources of revenue to support our critical programs and services. Without your support, WLP will face a serious shortfall that will have a direct impact on its work and programs.

WLP will honor Maureen Timmons with the 2020 Women Who Give Award. Maureen, an innovative change maker in the food service industry and WLP volunteer, has introduced the groundbreaking Menus of Change initiative to WLP, creating a new vision for our Healthy Meals Program. Hear from Maureen about her belief that all women should have access to healthy and sustainable food choices.

Join friends at a virtual table – your “attendance” will enliven the luncheon! All ticket holders will automatically enter an amazing raffle. Watch your mail for a special package before May 4th. Buy tickets online at www.womenslunchplace.org. Tickets are $200 and sponsorship opportunities are available.
