    Would you like to learn how to use seasonal ingredients to make delicious cocktails and mocktails? Join Adrienne (our farmer) and Amy (Farm to Go) on August 28 at 7 pm at Wright-Locke Farm in Winchester to learn about some great options for using fresh, seasonal herbs, fruits, and flowers in your liquid libations. This class will be focused on the great options available during New England summer!

    Please note, this class will be more about tasting and less about drinking.

    Since Chef Keith Sarasin first came to Wright-Locke Farm and filled our kitchen with the aromas of India and his passion for cooking, people have been talking about the experience. We are happy to say he is returning for a third Holi Celebration!

As autumn leaves turn vibrant shades of red and gold, it’s time to embrace the cozy warmth of fall and prepare for the gatherings of the season. This experience is brought to you by Life, Love, Cheese. Immerse yourself in the quintessential tastes of fall as we guide you through an interactive cheese tasting and cheeseboard arranging session. During this workshop, we will explore four exquisite American artisanal cheeses, specially chosen to capture the essence of the season. Learn about the unique flavors and pairings that make these cheeses a perfect addition to your holiday table.

    Our expert instructor, Kimi Ceridon, founder of Life. Love. Cheese., brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to the event.   • Saturday, May 14, 9:30 am – 12:00 noon – Spring Wildflowers of Arlington’s Great Meadows

    It’s mid May and the wildflowers are out in abundance. Join Boot Boutwell at Arlington’s Great Meadows on May 14 from 9:30 – noon for a stroll in search of mid to late-spring wildflowers. The walk will focus on wildflower ID as well as some fun and interesting natural history about the plants we see. We’ll also take a look at some cool plants that aren’t in flower.     The Winter Solstice is the day on which the midday sun is at its lowest point in the sky and it arrives this year on Monday, December 21. The solstices mark key turning points in the year and have been celebrated by many cultures throughout history. The Winter Solstice marks the shortest day (and the longest night) of the year. Join naturalist “Boot” Boutwell on Saturday, December 19 at 2:15 in celebrating the season with a walk around Wright-Locke Farm in Winchester and into the woods beyond to enjoy the beauty of nature.
