    On Sunday, October 4, enjoy a day long yoga festival, connecting people and parks to benefit the Emerald Necklace.  The event will take place at Clemente Field in the Back Bay Fens from 9 – 3.  General admission is $50, Supporter tickets are $125, and Advocate tickets are $250.  There will be Yoga, AcroYoga, food trucks, vendor booths, and more.  In the event of rain the party will move indoors.  You will find more information at www.emeraldnecklace.org/EmeraldNecklaceYogaFest.  Media partners are Boston Magazine and Hub Health, Boston.  Music by Djour Entertainment.

    Enjoy yoga in a peaceful, verdant setting at Elm Bank as the gardening season begins.

    Instructor Cory Halaby has been practicing yoga and meditation for more than ten years. Her classes are designed to lift the spirit, clear the mind, and cultivate strength, flexibility, and balance on and off the mat. A trained life coach and Reiki practitioner, Cory draws from a powerful mix of mind/body skills to help students tap into their own vast capacity for wisdom, joy, and wonder.

  • Sundays, June 16 – September 29, 3:30 pm – 6:00 pm – Sunday Parkland Games

    The Charles River Conservancy presents the 5th season of the Sunday Parkland Games, held in the Charles River Parklands close to the Weeks Footbridge, 948 Memorial Drive in Cambridge, every Sunday from June 16 through September 29, 3:30pm-6pm. The Conservancy, with its partner Knucklebones, provides athletic equipment and instruction for people of ALL ages and abilities. Games include everything from badminton to hula-hoop, (mini) basketball hoops to bean-bag toss. In addition, Karma Yoga will offer weekly yoga sessions from 5pm-6pm.     Enjoy the sounds, colors and fragrances of the Heritage Museums gardens in Sandwich, Massachusetts, while you close your eyes, stretch your muscles and inhale deeply. Catherine Paulson will guide you through the practice of hatha yoga. Classes are suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners and are held in various locations throughout Heritage’s 100 acres of award-winning botanical gardens.  In the event of rain, the class will be held on the outdoor concert stage.  $15 per person, drop in registration.
