“Festive Tables 2010” Opening Night at Shreve, Crump & Low, on the corner of Berkeley and Boylston Streets, will benefit The Room to Dream Foundation. An annual event sponsored by Shreve, Crump & Low, Festive Tables is a celebratory showcase of tablescapes with seven of the area’s top designers creating their ultimate table featuring merchandise selected from Shreve, Crump and Low’s extensive china, crystal and giftware departments and from their own collections. Designers include Taniya Nayak, star of HGTV’s Destination Design and Dennis Duffy, Michael Ferzoco, Erin Gates, Darlene Gentle, Eric Steven Jacobs, and Kathleen Sullivan Elliott. The designers will be on hand at the November 4th event to meet attendees. Tickets are $50 per person and includes cocktails and hors d’oeurve. All tickets sales, plus 10% of Shreve’s sales that evening will benefit the Room to Dream Foundation, a Boston-based not-for-profit organization whose mission is to create healing environments for children who are facing chronic illnesses.
