Join Boston Park Advocates (BPA) for its first annual meeting to celebrate the role of parks and open space in making Boston a healthy and vibrant city.  Guest speaker Dr. Barbara Ferrer, Executive Director, Boston Public Health Commission, will speak on Parks and Public Health: A Natural Partnership.  The event will take place at the Franklin Park Golf Clubhouse, and there will be festivities, refreshments and a cash bar followed by the program at 6:30.  You may also be interested in a pre-event walk at 4 pm – meet at the Emerald Necklace Visitor and Volunteer Center.  Click here to register.
