Friday, May 27 – Sunday, May 29, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm – Gore Place Spring Plant Sale

This year’s Gore Place offerings feature vegetable garden transplants, including more than 30 varieties of hard-to-find hybrid and heirloom tomatoes. The sale includes culinary herbs, select annual flower varieties, and beautiful hanging baskets.  It’s not only the large selection that makes this sale special; it’s also the chance to speak with gardener Scott Clarke. Scott knows a lot about these varieties, and he’s eager to share his knowledge with you!

Hours are 9am to 4pm, May 27 – May 29, rain or shine.  All are encouraged to bring their own boxes for transporting their purchases. Gore Place members receive a discount, so remember to bring your membership cards!

If you would like to get a jump on purchasing tomato plants, they are available for pre-order at $5 per 4-pack. To order, print out the selection list and mail it to 52 Gore St., Waltham, MA 02453. All tomatoes are pick-up only on May 21 from 10-3pm, and fees will be collected upon pick-up. Plants cannot be shipped or picked up early. Any tomatoes not picked up will be sold at the Spring Plant Sale the following weekend. Check out the list of varieties and descriptions on the farm page of the website. Please note the list is subject to change without notice. The selection list may be found at www.goreplace.org.
