    Ring in the festive season with Pilgrim Hall Museum’s 13th annual Holiday House Tour, featuring some of Plymouth’s most fascinating homes, adorned for the holidays. Visit a festive array of decorated Plymouth area homes to kindle Christmas cheer, while helping to support Pilgrim Hall Museum’s superb early American collection and educational programs.

    Tickets are $50.00 each and are available for purchase by accessing the link here (until 3pm on Friday, November 16th) or by contacting the Museum Shop in person or at 508-746-1620, x1 (until 3pm on Friday, November 30th, and on Saturday and Sunday during regular hours of operation). Ticket price covers admission for the entire weekend event and includes a delicious lunch at Plymouth Country Club as part of the holiday experience.

    Few communities have the rich legacy of historic houses that Salem, Massachusetts boasts. These homes, spanning four centuries, help define the character as well as the appearance of the city, and every year some of their owners invite visitors in to view their homes decked out in full holiday regalia, with the help of professional decorators and florists. Christmas in Salem features a glimpse into these private homes that have been professionally decorated for the holiday season as well as a series of special events such as walking tours and wine tastings that are exclusive to Christmas in Salem ticket holders.

    Christmas in Salem, thought to be the nation’s longest running holiday house tour, invites visitors to tour historic homes in the Historic Derby Street Neighborhood from November 30th through December 2nd. Homes will be beautifully decorated for the holiday season and will be open for tours throughout the weekend.

    A Preview will be held on Friday, November 30, 2018, from 5:30–8:30 pm and will feature selected homes. On Saturday, December 1 from 10:30 am–4:30 pm and Sunday, December 2 from 11:30 am–4:30 pm all sites will be open for tours.

    Christmas in Salem has become far more than a house tour. It’s now a citywide event for both residents and out-of-town visitors. There are local attractions, walking tours, live music, and discounts available for all tour goers.

    This year marks the 39th anniversary of Historic Salem, Inc.’s largest fundraiser. Always held the first weekend in December, Christmas in Salem is a wonderful opportunity to visit one of the region’s most storied city. Christmas in Salem encourages tour goers to enjoy everything the city has to offer, including local restaurants and shops during the holiday season. A complimentary trolley takes visitors from downtown parking locations to the tour route, providing historical information and a festive ride that will get everyone in the holiday spirit.

  • Sunday, December 10, 12:00 noon – 4:00 pm – Needham Women’s Club 20th Anniversary Holiday House Tour

    The Needham Women’s Club will hold its’ 20th Anniversary Holiday House Tour on Sunday, December 10, 2017 from 12:00 – 4:00.

    Tour goers have been inspired and delighted each Holiday season for the past twenty years touring as many as six beautifully decorated Needham homes. In addition, the Club will once again host “The Marketplace – Gifts That Give Back”. At the Marketplace, vendors will be selling unique gifts sure to inspire your Holiday shopping. The Tour begins at the Center at the Heights, 300 Hillside Ave. The Holiday House Tour is the single largest fundraiser the Club does all year and funds the financial donations the NWC provides to Needham community programs and organizations.

    The Village Garden Club of Dennis presents Holiday House Tour on Saturday, December 9 between 10 – 4. The tour features 6 homes in Dennis and East Dennis that are festively decorated for the season, and the benefit event is open to the public.One home will have a small holiday boutique, another will feature a harpist.   • Saturday, December 2, 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm, and Sunday, December 3, 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm – Preservation of Historic Winchester Holiday House Tour

    Preservation of Historic Winchester’s Holiday House Tour is held the first full weekend of December, and consists of the Bough and Dough Shop, Saturday evening Preview Party & Candlelight Tour, and the Sunday afternoon Daylight Tour. The Preview Party on Saturday, December 2 from 6 – 9 is a special evening reception in a historic home, featuring a sneak peek Candlelight Tour of the other sites on the Holiday House Tour on Saturday evening. Admission tickets to the Preview Party and Candlelight Tours are also valid for the Sunday afternoon house tours. The Daylight Tour is the main attraction of the Holiday House Tour weekend, taking place on Sunday afternoon December 3 from 1 – 5 and drawing crowds of up to 500 visitors. The Bough and Dough Shop is open the first weekend of December, concurrent with the Holiday House Tour, on Saturday from 9 – 5 and Sunday from 11 – 5. Fresh cut greenery, wreaths, baked goods, and local artisan crafts are available for holiday gift-giving and decorating. Books and artwork featuring historic subjects may be available on a year to year basis. Tickets for the Holiday House Tour and memberships to PHW are also available.     On Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., several of Concord’s most beautiful private homes will be professionally decorated in the holiday spirit by local and Boston-based interior designers. Guests will be welcomed inside the front doors of these gracious private residences to visit the charming ground floor rooms. From Colonial to Victorian to Shingle Style and more, each house will be decorated in a different holiday theme. The Concord Museum welcomes you to spend the day in Concord, a small town with a big history, and enjoy the elegant streets, charming cafés and shops, as well as the many historic homes.

    The Guild of Volunteers is organizing this event as a benefit for the education initiatives of the Museum.
